The formula, fully exposed

Five components, weighted, scored zero to one hundred. A penalty if there is a documented pattern of withdrawal blocks or reversed wins. We did not invent the weights in a vacuum. Reserves come first because money you can verify on-chain is money you can claim. Payout history comes second because a fast median across many tests is harder to fake than a marketing line.

  1. Reserves, 30%. The size of the operator wallet cluster relative to the field, normalised. Bigger reserves mean more cushion when a streak hits. Not indexed yet means a zero in this column, which is the honest answer, not a punishment.
  2. Payout history, 25%. Median minutes from withdrawal request to wallet across our own deposit tests, plus any public reports we can verify. Fast and consistent beats fast and occasional.
  3. Age and history, 20%. Years operating under the current brand. A nine-year operator with a clean ledger is a different risk than a two-year operator with the same paperwork.
  4. Licence quality, 15%. Curacao with a real legal entity scores higher than Anjouan or no licence at all. Sweepstakes are scored on their own track because the product is different.
  5. Trend, 10%. Are reserves growing or shrinking month on month. A site bleeding reserves while running ten thousand dollar bonus headlines is telling you something.
  6. Dispute penalty. Major pattern of voided wins or frozen accounts deducts forty points. A minor isolated incident deducts twelve. No public pattern, no penalty.

FAQ

Why is on-chain reserve size so heavily weighted?

Because it is the one number an operator cannot edit. Wallets are public. Cluster size is a floor on what the house can pay out in a worst-case week. Marketing copy is not.

Some brands score zero on reserves. Are they bad?

Not necessarily. It means we have not yet identified their on-chain wallet cluster, or they do not hold reserves on a public chain. The score reflects what we can verify, not what is morally true.

How often do scores update?

Reserves auto-refresh from Arkham every build. Payout times get re-tested quarterly with our own deposits. Dispute penalties update when something is publicly documented.

What is the difference between WCI and the regular review rating?

The review rating asks 'is this a good casino to play at'. WCI asks the narrower question 'how confident am I that I will get my money back'. A site can rate well overall and still have a middling WCI if it is young or thinly capitalised.

Can I trust a score under sixty?

Treat it as a yellow flag. Deposit small, withdraw early, watch how the operator behaves. The number is a starting point, not a verdict.
